Elfie Herlihy Memorial

Long time DLW resident Elfie Herlihy passed away Sun.,  Feb. 28.

Elfie was an original DLW resident and was very active in the DLWCA over the years since its inception, holding several board positions as well as, managing the Neighborhood Watch program, and distributing the flags for display on July 4, among other Association activities.  The very first DLWCA Edward P. Day Citizenship award was presented to Elfie in 2005.  She will be sorely missed in the DLW community but fondly remembered.

Memorial services will be held Thurs., Mar. 10 at 2PM at Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross, 2455 Gallows Rd.  In lieu of flowers it was Elfie's wish that donations be made to Capital Caring of Arlington, VA.
